10/10 Just an absolute dream of an experience. Our server Liz was the most attentive server I've ever had. It was my wife and I's first time at a HotPot and she was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of the menu items. She guilded though the experience with ease. We will be returning very soon. This is a MUST TRY!

This is the best place to get hot pot near the Novi/Farmington Hills area. Our waiter “Sam” helped us pick the perfect broth to go with our set and the wait service is fantastic. They are constantly vigilant, clearing tables for more food or answering any questions. Food quality is top notch and fresh. There is a large variety of meats and veggies as well as yummy desserts. We ordered 40-50 plates and didn’t have to wait very long to get our food. It is all you can eat in 90 minutes, so pace yourself. I have been to Chubby Cattle at least 4 times already and I can say they consistently deliver an excellent dining experience that leaves you feeling satisfied. Highly recommend!

We recently visited a newly opened shabu-shabu restaurant in our neighborhood. Even though it was a hot summer day, the restaurant was kept nice and cool, making it comfortable to enjoy a hot meal. One thing that stood out was how clean and well-maintained everything was. The vegetable bar was always neatly stocked, and the drink station was clean and organized. They even had an automatic rice dispenser that served perfectly portioned rice, along with a nice selection of side dishes. The variety wasn’t overwhelming, but it was just enough. Ordering was done through a tablet at the table, which made the whole experience quick and efficient. We never had to wait long for our food to arrive. Each plate came with only two or three slices of beef, but since the meat was sliced so thin (as it should be for shabu-shabu), we usually ate two or three slices in one bite anyway. The restaurant allows you to place a new order every six minutes, which worked well for us. They also have a policy that charges customers for excessive food waste, which is a nice way to encourage people to order responsibly. For our broths, we chose Sukiyaki and Spicy Tonkotsu. It was our first experience at Chubby Cattle Wagyu Shabu. We tried out Silver Wagyu set. Meat are very good quality and fresh. veggies and side dishes are good quality as well. It is looks like more sukiyaki, not Shabu shabu to me. I think it is depends on what kind of broth you select. It is 90 mins all you can eat and we were actually able to eat enough to eat. We just needed a bigger table even for two people. Restaurant is very clean and neat. Good atmosphere. Restaurant staff is very friendly and professional manner. Not too loud, so very easy to talk and eat. Overall, the pricing was reasonable and we really enjoyed the dinner and definitely will go back again. Will try gold Wagyu set next time!

I recently visited Chubby Cattle Wagyu Shabu and honestly had an excellent experience from start to finish. The food quality was outstanding, especially the Wagyu, and you can absolutely tell this place takes pride in what they serve. If you are planning to visit, I highly recommend going with the Diamond Package because the amount and variety of Wagyu you get makes the experience completely worth it. Everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and high quality, and the overall dining experience felt very premium without feeling overwhelming. What really made this place stand out to me was the customer service. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive the entire time. My waitress went above and beyond to make sure I understood how everything worked, from the ordering process to each station setup. She took the time to explain everything clearly, answered questions without hesitation, and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the entire experience. That level of professionalism and patience genuinely made the visit enjoyable and stress-free. The atmosphere was also great, very clean, organized, and comfortable.
